Hi Mansur, this looks like a well thought out, consistent strategy - congrats. One question, did you benchmark this against selling every day 1 contract of the 7DTE PCS vs. 10 contracts at once of the weekly? Might be easier to manage during volatile markets (you will have 1/10 the risk per day, and the market move might take a few days - so maybe 2 or 3/10 the risk in total compared to 10 of a weekly buy), but will have to manage 2-3 separate contracts rather than 1 in case things go south of course.

Hi Can!

Thanks for the great question and for the kind words.

To be honest, I haven’t compared my approach with selling one 7DTE PCS every single day. But in terms of trading style and mindset, I strongly prefer the once-per-week structure.

For me, this strategy is about simplicity, discipline, and long-term consistency. I open the setup for the week — and that’s it. I just monitor it as needed, without constant operational noise.

The daily approach, on the other hand, requires continuous attention, multiple overlapping positions, and regular hands-on management. That becomes tiring and pulls focus away from other things I’m working on.

So the weekly rhythm is a deliberate choice. I value stability, clarity, and free time more than daily activity.
