What is this strategy?
The foundation is vertical spreads with ~10 delta, predominantly Bear Call Spreads. Entry typically on Mondays. Expiration almost always Friday of the current week. At least one trade per week.
Mathematically, 10-delta gives a success probability around 90%. But I don’t enter mechanically—I use technical analysis and read price action. I catch bearish reversal patterns (Bearish Engulfing, Evening Star, Dark Cloud Cover), check RSI for overbought conditions, look for divergences. This raises the probability of success above the baseline 90%.
Besides Bear Call Spreads, I use other structures (Bull Put Spreads, Bear Put Spreads) — depending on market conditions.
