📈 Volatility finally lifted, capital redeployed
The Bull Call Spread on VIX, opened on December 5, was closed today after a prolonged holding period.
The original thesis played out — volatility lifted off the lows — but the trade demanded far more patience than initially expected. With expiration approaching and better opportunities available elsewhere, I chose to exit early to free up capital rather than squeeze the final stretch.
This was a capital efficiency decision, not a change in view.
Position closed, cash released, move on.
